The Women Leaders Network (WLN)

Is a growing peer mentorship network of women and young professionals in all sectors. We are inspired and guided by the special recognition of women in society as espoused in the Uganda Constitution and the United Nations Convention on the Elimination of all forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW). Committed to systemic community based social transformation, it facilitates peer to peer learning through sharing of ideas, experiences and best case practices as well as mentorship and coaching. The WLN also facilitates quarterly leadership enhancement workshops developed to directly address the leadership capacity and support needs of members of the network. The agenda for each workshop is set by and for the members in the spirit of full participation and self help. The WLN also supports the genesis and launch of budding social transformational ideas in any field.
